Yesterday we threw our 1st party at the new house to celebrate the 4th of July! Although the house is still in disarray, we love a good party, and a great party is was. After letting the kids almost melt in the bounce house, we let them cool off with a water balloon fight as we gorged ourselves with tons of food.
We stayed cool as well with lots of liquids...
And rounded out the night with a hike up to the top of the dam where we could see fireworks all over the city! It was an amazing way to break in the new house with old friends. It was a happy 4th indeed!
